I too continue on, albeit at times with difficulty, uncertainty and trepidations of the past and the future. Along the route to better times i have once again returned to my wood working shop. In all honesty it has been a blessing, affording me the relaxation and peace of mind it once gave. I have returned mostly to the lathe for it is oone of my favorites, although I do have other projects in progress, one in particular that I will present here after a bit. Many will remember the cedar bullits I turned. Enough of a hint. Here is a set of wine glasses that I just completed. Shown with some of my favorite cream sherry that also relaxes me a bit

Outfitters is 1st Class. I will definitely be going back. We had 7 hunters in camp and all but 1 took 2 bears. Both mine were taken with my Accumark chambered in 340 WBY Mag and the 250 grn. Nosler Partition. Thanks to the Weatherby Forum for the load advice. Both 1 shot kills and DRT. The second bear measured 6'8" tip of nose to tip of tail. He has a rather large skull and my preliminary (hide still on) scoring makes me optimistic. We will see. I'll keep you posted.

Unfortunately the Weatherby Nation and Weatherby itself already use this exact same logo - and it gets difficult on my list to pick out which website I'm going to visit.

Any chance that there is a different Weatherby logo we could use to differentiate this site?

I heard even the .340 Weatherby has rather stiff recoil, but on paper, looks not much more than .375 H&H?
However, those .40 cal. above with ft. lbs. over 70 must be ridiculous?:eek:

Love to hear from those who have owned/shot the Lott & 'bee and the .375H&H vs. the .340 Wby.

Accumark was bedded and shoots 200 Ab at 3270 fps .6-.7" groups.
Comes with 20 MOA BASE.

Ultralight shoots factory 110 AB's at 3550 fps and .65" At 100 yds. Has bases.

I have dies brass & factory ammo for the 257.

Take either for 1200. Priced to sell. Must sacrifice due to unforeseen events.
