Default Weatherby items and what are they worth

Hello Everyone, this is my first post. First off I'm not going to lie too you why I joined the Weatherby forum. I have a number of W/B items that I will be selling including my W/B Mark V rifle.
My health no longer allows me to hunt, I have not used my W/B rifle in approx. 5 years , so I thought I would sell it and other W/B items I have. I offered to my only Son, he said no, will not work for him being a right handed shooter. So I have made the decision to sell and I need to know what the approx. value of W/B items and my rifle are worth.

I have the W/B Elephant sling which is like new with only one small scuff.
W/B brass belt buckle and red velvet case it came in.
approx. 100 rounds of once fired W/B 7mm mag. brass
4 or 5 vintage W/B cardboard ammo boxes.
    W/B 1977 colored catalog.

As for my rifle I will need to sit down and figure out what the extras I ordered with rifle are and see if I can get some pictures for you.
I also have a letter from W/B with all info of when I ordered rifle and extras and build date, it is a left hand Mark V in 7mm Weatherby magnum.
It has a Weatherby premier 3-9x40 scope with Redfield mounts and hand engraved Redfield rings.
The scope has the TV view and glass is excellent with plex reticle, I have the original factory box for rifle, no scope box. The rifle shoots 3/4" groups with factory 154 grain W/B ammo. all bluing is excellent cond. along with all the beautiful wood.

So I hope no one gets too upset with me for doing this as a first time member, I just do not know of where else to get accurate info and pricing.

    Thank You

I have more pictures, I hope I'm not going to get into trouble by doing all of these pictures, I do not know how too get them all on one post.
As you can see from paperwork from W/B all of the exras I ordered with rifle at the time of build.

Nice collection, I wish I could help on the values. If it were me I would search Gunbroker for the rifle and Ebay for the other items. I would be concentrating on actual Sold items not just what people are asking. I search Gunbroker for 378's regularly and there are a few rifle's that have been listed for a long time, one of them for over 3 years due to very high reserve.

Another option is to contact Rock island auction house, you just missed their Nov/Dec premier auction. Their next premier auction is in May. They have smaller auctions about every other month.

Another option is to either contact or search the arcives of these guys http://www.collectorsfirearms.com/mo...orting-rifles/

And yet another option would be to contact your closest Cabellas about them selling it on consinment in their gun library. Wich is their used gun department with online listings and they ship guns all over the place.

Your rifle is very nice, but the initials (I presume yours) engraved in the floor plate do detract from the value in my opinion.

    Hope this helps

What an absolutely gorgeous rifle. Exquisite wood. I have a friend who is a lefty and has expressed the desire to own a Weatherby someday. I sent this post off to him to see if he may be interested.

    Hello Rob:

Thanks for all the info, I will check them out.
Yes those are my initials, I do realize that will affect the value somewhat.
