Only a suggestion, but could call the KC Royals head trainer, and see if you can be seen by the doc they use for their pitchers. The guy that did my shoulder was stumped, and he was going to use the...

Thanks for your comments! Looking forward to hearing more about it!
Anybody have one of these w/the 26" barrel? Likey/don't likey? I love my VG2 in 240, and I suspect one of these might be almost or equally accurate. I'm disappointed in my M70 264, and I can't...
Very nice cutters!
Glad you're a "detail guy", as I enjoyed the story. I've "blown" my left shoulder in a horse accident, but I'm right handed. To keep the story short...and clean, after a year of PT, had to get...
I voted, and am confident you'd approve. However, I live at "The New California", which is Front Range, Colorado. Look up who's running for our governor. And sadly, Trumpster didn't come to this...
Cool! Thanks for sending. I shot a little piker buck last Thur. Best I could do. Showed up late, and most of the good bucks out of each herd were shot off. And the mud...very nasty conditions. ...
At my antelope spot, will be snow and rain for a few days. I'll wait until the crowds go back to Denver to work.
Should be about time for some antelope pictures to show up?
I don't have anything witty to reply with, but you're an inspiration, Mark.
When I bought my plain Jane VG at Cabela's, believe it was a tad over $400. Generally, stainless is anywhere from $25-100 more? That wood is gorgeous, but I wouldn't know the value. Mine has never...
I have a bare bones 257 Wby VG, "made for Cabela's" blue/Gumby w/382 rounds down the pipe, and it shoots as good as when I bought it about 2005-ish. But it isn't nearly as purty as this rifle. ...
I have no idea, BUT it is a darn good looking rifle!
Got a kick out of your post, Mark. You make me smile, but Calif is a bit more complicated than EVERYONE being a sidewalk crapper. If I stayed there, I'd been 5th generation Kalifornian. My line of...
Flew the flag; traded text quips w/Vietnam buds. I live out in the prairie, and not many people to shake hands with out here. We have the guns, and the "others" just have hot air...
Very nice buck! Is that a weird point with the velvet not rubbed off on his right side? Boy, that big ol buck had to brouse 80 mph in that terrain to get antlers that big! Very nice wood on that...
I've been kind of not shopping since this miserable heart issue, but I really gravitate to the magazine stands when I'm requested to shop with my wife. In my area, one of the Kroger stores I believe...
Still haven't shot. Supposedly I have a modern pacemaker that can be acceptable to even go into the MRI "culvert pipe". Unfortunately, not for 6 mos. I had a wicked ankle infection (we think) just...
Why didn't Weatherby do this with their shoulder? Would have been perfect in a MkV ULW. If one had a speedy neck shaver, it would be a piece of cake to make the case.
Think it'll last? I like the design. Would it feed in a rebarreled M70 300 Win? I was wondering w/the long bullet seated long, it would feed in a long action? As a "pacemaker dude", I need to...
The wife's 8 yo Boxer/lab, or is it boxer/husky(?), knows where the sun shines on the floor at different times of the day. Dog loves the wife, but knows I'm the one to hang around to have fun...
Get "Mr. Sparky" Tuesday morning. Wish me luck! The lady that "watched" my Sony Walkman screen kept calling me in da wee hours of the morning and asking if I wanted to go to the ER. I was having...
RE the Zio, sounds like a better device, at least for comfort. Comfort is an issue with the Holter.
Never heard of the Zio. I shall look it up. Again, I'm in my early 70's, no valve issues, no vessel "sludge", no BP issues, good if slightly low HB's, acceptable cholesterol, always high...
I passed the Tikosyn test, but not at the dosage the doctors wanted me to be on. Been on a Holter Monitor for almost 2 weeks. It's kind of like a portable EKG, from what I gather. However, one of...
Like the article says, politics is part of it. If I stayed there 40-some years ago, I'd been a fifth generation Kalifornian. It breaks my heart what has happened to the place. I don't know how...
In my opinion, a myth. Just like the small town local tire shop (also a chain!) that told me that the Michelins sold by Sam's Club are inferior to ones he sells. What horse pucky!
Never owned a Vette, but drove one once. Owned a '69 Camaro Z28 before I went to 'nam. Saw doc today, and now he says, "Don't worry about shooting unless you're left handed and dumb enough to place...
Wow, I thought you ran a Corvette repair shop of some kind, and wasn't a real doc. Very cool, and sorry for my off guess! I met this gentleman at my shooting range who was dialing in a bull barrel...
Even though I'm in my 70's, none of my shooting and hunting buddies, that I'm aware of, have pacemakers. You guys know of any issues with recoil and pacemakers? This is a new topic for me. Pass...
Quite positive I'm not getting a Wby for Christmas. However...just after Christmas, I think I might be getting a pacemaker. And that's not a new model of a Mark V, either!
Glad we're alive to celebrate it! HML-167, 1971
Very nice, Deputy! I live near Denver, hunt near Craig since 2000. I'm tired of that location, and elk running from the high elevation to one big ranching haystack to another. Prior to 2005, or...
Where are the mule deer pics? 2016, 2017, daughters/granddaughters with their first doe, come on, guys!
So 340 Wby/Admin/boss, does this mean that ALL Japanese made MkV's will be 9-lug in ALL of the 0.473 case head cartridges? Or just an early run of them? More I read, the more confused I get! And...
I was "studying" some 270 Win MkV's on Gunbroker, and are ALL Japanese '06 cartridge family 9-lug? And how does one know w/confidence that the '06 family in a MkV are 6-lug?
What's the recoil like on these 6.5-300's? More than a 7 Rem Mag with 160's or 175's? Or more like a 300 Win?
I've been w/this Forum for at least 5 years, and never saw this Thread before. Yup, he "got" me, too. A stainless/synthetic MkV 270 Wby. Super deal, and a fun guy to chew the fat with. He tried...
Thanks, Mark. I WAS on my roof today, but to clean my gutters. Not bad for somebody in his seventies! I hope some more buck pix show up...
Ok, before I jump off my roof since I don't have a deer tag, will somebody show me a deer shot this year with a Weatherby? Even your 12 yr old daughter's doe shot with her Vanguard 243 will work. ...
You're increasing your collection by only 4%. Go for it, dude! And can't wait to hear about it!
Don't own any AR's either, but unless I dreamed that, think I saw 300 Blackout ammo at Wal-mart? Another one I've day dreamed about is finding a shot out 223 bolt rifle, and having a 6x45 or 6TCU...
Prince of Wales Island or anywhere at SE Alaska is good for black bears. And they're big there. Sleep on a boat, catch halibut, and get taken to shore on a skiff.
I'd like to bring all my empty cartridge cases to Broz's reloading room, and spend Christmas there!
I saw this buck's little brother near the intersection of I-15/70, last week. He was checking out a huge herd of does east of the interstate.
Come on, guys. Post the pictures! Even forked...
Come on, guys. Show some pix. Even if it's a forked horn!
And, Thanksgiving to all.
Like the idea. I shall be watching how it is accepted down the road.
Never hunted 15. Last 3 seasons, hunted 27/181, which has way too many hunters that also tend to concentrate in only a few spots. I don't care for the spot, but there are so few places today that...
No. I'm falling into the preference point trap. Last few seasons, we hunt north of Kremmling for deer. A truly awful unit, but we can say we have a tag in our pocket. Hate to say it, my sons and...
I hunt most of the units near Craig, and a buck like that is now very rare. That is a very nice trophy. Just getting a buck tag now around Craig is no easy matter.
