    Default Ring height

I bought 2 Weatherbys and now need to mount 2 scopes and thought I could get some good advice on ring height.

One scope is a Steiner GS3 3-15X50 , It will go on a Weatherby Mark V in 257. (Woodstock)
The other scope is a Burris Veracity 2-10X42 , It will go on a Weatherby Mark V in 30/06 (synthetic Stock)
    Both are 30mm tubes.
I would like to keep the scopes as close to the barrel as possible.
    I need bases and rings.

I own plenty of these integral base/ring combos. You will need the low height for the 42mm scope and medium height for the 50mm scope.

I ordered the Talley for the Mark V 257 and 30/06.
For the DGR in 375 Weatherby Magnum I went with 2 piece Warne with quick detach bases and rings because that rifle has iron sights and a 1-6 scope headed its way.

Let me know how the Talley mounts work out. Don't want to give you a bum steer here.

I mounted a Leupold VX3i 4.5-14x40 on my Weathermark and used low Talley one piece. Used them on several rifles and love them.
